Chocolate Spread
This is a decadent spread that takes mere minutes to prepare! It is a delicious breakfast and the bonus is that all the ingredients are fabulously healthy!

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Raw Cacao
- 1/2 cup hemp seeds (or raw, unsalted sunflower seeds)
- 1/4 cup honey, pure unpasteurized
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup nut butter, unsweetened peanut, almond, cashew
Directions
Place all ingredients in a food processor. Blend until completely mixed, scrape sides and blend again. (This can be mixed by hand in a large bowl as well; it will just alter the texture slightly). Use immediately, or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Leave out for 10 minutes to soften before serving.
To Serve: Toast a slice of spouted grain bread or whole grain crackers. Spread onto toast. Add sliced strawberries or bananas.
This can also be serve cold; cut into squares and eat like fudge.
Variations:
- Use sunflower seeds (raw, unsalted) instead of hemp seeds.
- Make it nut free by using Tahini instead of peanut butter.
Note: Decrease the sweetness by adjusting the honey to 2-3 tbsp.
