Making your electrolyte drink for during and after sports is both quick and easy! This version is free of unwanted additives such as artificial dyes and sweeteners.
Ingredients
- 1 liter of filtered water*
- 1 cup mixed berries, frozen or fresh
- ½ lemon or lime, juiced
- 1/3- ½ tsp sea salt (Himalayan or Celtic)
Optional
- ½-1 tbsp pure, medium grade maple syrup
- or
- 2-3 drops stevia
- (adjust sweetener as needed for personal preference)
Instructions
- 1.) Combine all ingredients except lemon in a glass jar and seal with a lid or cover.
- 2.) Store in the fridge for at least 24 hours, then add lemon and mix.
- 3.) Serve with or without the berries. This is ideal for use during or after athletic training.
