Evergreen Winter Smoothie

This delicious smoothie is the ideal winter holiday snack or mini meal for highly active people and athletes! Pack with nutrition and energy, it will keep you going strong.
Ingredients
- 3 cups almond milk
- 6 Medjool dates, pits removed
- 1/3 cup brazil nuts
- 1 small frozen banana
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp nutmeg (or to taste)
- 2 tsp chia seeds
- ½ cup fresh spinach (or other leafy greens)
- 1 – 2 serving high quality protein powder (hemp, brown rice etc).
- Optional: 1 tsp pure vanilla*
Instructions
- Put all ingredients into a blender.
- Blend on high until well combined.
- Pour into glasses and serve.
- Makes 3-4 servings
Notes
- NOTE: ½ tsp of pure Vanilla powder can be used in place of extract.
